Of the screenshot:

Was mentioned a few days ago (on another website) that there were some wrestlin' going on with some rockets and trajectories: As meshing together the old code with the new one always causes a great deal of headache. A lot of tinkering had to be done in order to make it work; parts had to be altered or completely rewritten/adjusted. Took a few days, as the project is fairly-complex, and also required a lot of additional tweaks from the supporting systems (saving/loading, new UI elements, triggers/actions for UI info, etc.).
The screen shows a rocket inbound to an asteroid (marked as a red bullseye), that is threatening Earth. On the left: Basic information about the rocket (e.g., how long to reach its destination, or what destructive power the weapon has). On the right: Shortcuts for Macro/Micro management (e.g., budget-history/active income, research, construction, diplomacy, etc.)

Of the game

An Original X-COM (the one from 1994 called UFO Defense) and old-school 4x games inspired compact game, where the goal is to navigate through the perils of an ongoing Armageddon that threatens the end all life, and erase all traces of humanity. The task is immense, formidable even, while time and resources are scare: Nations are squabbling against each-other, while prices and the cost of production continues to rise, and there's no telling who and what will go wrong next. At the time of great need, no unison has been reached, and thus saving the planet, all that's been dear to us, became an act of political gamesmanship; scrambling to fight over the remains...
